Switching/Moving a User

The location of the user can be changed.

Scenario 1: Moving an app user from one team to another

The app user can be moved from one Team to another. The CAN executives should discuss with the team leader to verify the availability within the receiving team and check for available licenses before switching the user.

  1. Go to App Administration/User Management

  2. Select the edit icon at the right end of the user.

  1. Select the team from the dropdown to which the user is moved.

Note: The Role of the individual can be changed.

  1. Resend Code/Password is selected automatically.

  1. Select save and confirm the pop-up.

  2. An email with an activation code is sent to the user.

  1. The user status is changed to invited.

  2. The app user activates the account using the activation code and logs into their new team.

Scenario 2: Moving an app user from one Church/Group to another

The app user can be moved from one Church/Group to another. The CAN executives should discuss with the Church/Group representatives to verify the availability within the receiving Church/Group or team and check for available licenses before inviting the user.

1.      Go to App Administration/User Management

2.      Select the edit icon at the right end of the user.

3.      Select the Church/Group from the dropdown to which the user is moved.

4.      Select the Team

Note: The Role of the individual can be changed.

5.      Select Save and confirm the pop-up.

6.      An email with an activation code is sent to the user.

7.      The user status is changed to invited.

8.      The app user activates the account using the activation code and logs into the team of their new Church/Group.

Scenario 3: Moving the Facilitator/Mentor from one Church/Group to another

The Facilitator or Mentor can be moved from one Church/Group to another. The CAN executives should discuss with the Church/Group representatives before moving the user.

1.      Go to App Administration/User Management.

2.      Select the edit icon at the right end of the web user (Facilitator/ Mentor).

3.      Select the Church/Group from the dropdown to which the user is moved.

Note: The Role of the individual can be changed.

4.      Now, the Resend Code/Password field is checked automatically.

5.      Select Save and confirm.

6.      An email with an activation code is sent to the user, and CC is sent to the City Director

7.      The user status is changed to invited.

8.      The web user activates their account using the PIN given in the email.

Scenario 4: Moving the executives from one location to another

(Only applicable for the executives above City-level)

The location of the executives can be changed from a City/State/Country to Other.  The CAN executives should discuss with higher-level executives before moving the user.

1.      Go to App Administration/User Management.

2.      Select the edit icon at the right end of the web user.

 

3.      Change the location (Country or State/Province or City/Town) from the drop-down to which the user is moved.

Note: The Role of the individual can also be promoted..

4.      Now, the Resend Code/Password field is checked automatically.

5.      Select Save and confirm.

6.      An email with an activation code is sent to the user

7.      The user status is changed to invited.

8.      The web user activates the account using the temporary password received in the email.
