MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
On the mission frontier, there are an estimated 13.4 million Christian workers worldwide, which is just 0.14% of the global population. In contrast, approximately 2.4 billion people, about 28.8% of the world’s population, identify as Christians, spanning every corner of the globe. Considering the trends and challenges facing the world today, mobilizing these Christians to be witnesses in daily life is vital.
As a witness, one does not have to undertake it as an additional task on top of the already demanding schedule or seek out people who are outside our social circle. The vast majority of those who are not able to believe are not in some remote jungle; they are among our family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. The witnessing framework is designed to integrate everything into the existing schedule and existing natural relationships.
The Church- Sunday vs Monday through Saturday
"The Church is the visible body of our Lord Jesus Christ—the primary way the world sees and experiences the love of God. On Sundays, the Church gathers together in one place. Through preaching, teaching, worship, fellowship, and discipleship, it shapes and nurtures every believer. The Church strengthens both the personal and social lives of believers, fostering their spiritual growth and personal edification. It also inspires them to give generously and support missions.
Just as Jesus sent His followers into the world, the Church has sent the Christians into the world. However, when it comes to actively witnessing, many still struggle to do so among their family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
