Driving Principles
Follow-up and Support
When Christians are exposed to new, inspiring ideas, they start with all their hearts and with the hope of doing so consistently. But the business slowly takes center stage, pushing the newly inspired idea to fade and die. Therefore, the ET must observe, follow up, and provide needed support to ensure the MT meets regularly and fulfills its expected responsibilities.
The ET members may join the MT meetings now and then to observe and encourage. If the ET does not factor in the follow-up, support is equal to forming the MT to its failure.

Challenges to navigate
When trying to connect with churches and organizations, the ET must be aware of the following: Most churches and organizations have good programs and initiatives of their own and may feel they don’t need another one. A common concern among leaders is that parachurch organizations could take key people and financial resources away from the church. As a result, those leaders might see us as a threat rather than a help. Therefore, ET members should approach this with understanding, wisdom, and humility to maintain a positive engagement.
