The total number of Christian workers is around 14.05 million in 2025, which is about 0.17% of the world population. Cross-cultural workers number about 450,000, or about 0.04%. But Christians make up 28.8% of the population worldwide. For every Christian worker, about 578 people who are not able to believe in Jesus Christ; for every cross-cultural worker, there are about 18,204; but for every one Christian, there are only about three who are not able to believe in Jesus Christ. And these people who are unable to believe are not in some remote jungle; they are among family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Therefore, equipping these Christians as witnesses is vital.
