EXECUTIVE TEAM (ET)

ET consists of Christians working together to pray, plan, and collaborate to assist churches, organizations, and groups in equipping their members as witnesses using the witnessing framework. ET operates at the city, state, and national levels.

  • ET forms the Mobilizing Teams (MT) within the church, organization, or groups.

  • The MT form Witnessing Teams (WT) among its members to equip them to build witnessing relationships with family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers who do not believe in Jesus Christ. 

Roles in ET

1. Executive Team (ET) Leader

The ET Leader leads the witnessing framework. The leader forms the team and ensures that members meet regularly to pray, plan, and coordinate activities. The leader also helps the team fulfill its responsibilities and remain focused on its vision and goals.

2. Executive Team (ET) Member

ET Members are committed to advancing the vision together. They participate regularly in team meetings and faithfully carry out the responsibilities they have accepted.

Capacities Required for an Effective ET

The Executive Team should collectively possess the following capacities to function effectively:

  1. Identify and invite suitable people to join the ET.

  2. Initiate, encourage, and sustain collaboration.

  3. Set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and take responsibility.

  4. Communicate effectively to raise awareness.

  5. Develop and maintain a database of information about churches, organizations, and groups that may benefit from the Witnessing Framework, including details of key leaders and influential individuals within those entities.

  6. Accommodate different denominations and doctrinal perspectives.

  7. Ability to understand and utilize basic technology tools.

Responsibilities of ET

ET’s responsibility is to create awareness of the need for witnessing and to onboard churches, organizations, and groups by forming Mobilizing Teams. The ultimate purpose is to increase the number of Christians being mentored through the Witnessing Framework.

The team may meet once or twice each month, either face-to-face or online. Participation in meetings and related responsibilities will typically require approximately three to five hours a month.
