Random User Approval

Random User Approval

Any individual who are not invited by the executives or Team Leader but downloads the app and registers on their own is called a Random User. Such users are displayed in User Management with the status “Random”.  The user may register by

  • selecting the Church/Group within your City/Town, or

  • Entering a new Church/Group within your City/Town, or

  • Entering a new City/Town

When such Random User registers, the CAN executives receive an email with the user's details. The executives must call the user and verify if the user is known and genuine. This process is to prevent people with ill intent from entering the network. After verifying, the executives can approve and invite the users within a team.

Scenario 1: Approving the Random User registers by choosing the Church/Group within your City/Town

  1. Go to App Administration/User Management.

  2. Search for the Random user with the information received in the email. 

  3. Call and verify the user’s identity. 

  4. Check for available licenses before inviting the user.

  5. Click on the edit icon at the right end of the random user. 

  6. Change the Role to Team Leader / Team Member.

  7. Select an existing Team from the dropdown or you may create a new Team from Team Management.        

  8. If required, you may change the Church/Group from the dropdown or create a new Church/Group in Church/Group Management.

  9. Click on Save and confirm the pop-up.

  10. Now the user status is changed to Invited, and an invitation email is sent to a random user with an Activation Code.

Scenario 2: Approving the Random User registers by entering a new Church/Group within your City/Town

  1. Go to App Administration/User Management

  2. Search for the Random user with the information received in the email. 

  3. Call and verify the user’s identity. 

  4. Check for the available licenses before approving the random user.

  5. Click on the edit icon at the right end of the user.

  6. The random user appears as below.

  7. Approve the “Other Church/Group” from Church/Group Management and create a team.

  8. Once approved, the “Other Church/Group” gets selected as below. 

  9. If needed, you can select the existing Church/Group or create a new one from Church/Group management.

  10. Change the Role to Team Member/Leader.

  11. Select the Team, and the Resend Code/Password is selected automatically.

  12. Select Save and confirm the pop-up.

  13. Now the user status is changed to Invited, and an invitation email is sent to a random user with an Activation Code.



Scenario 3: Random User registers by entering a new City/Town and a new Church/Group

(Applicable only for the executives above City level)

  1. Go to App Administration/User Management

  2. Search for the Random user with the information received in the email. 

  3. Call and verify the user’s identity. 

  4. Check for the available licenses before approving the random user.

  5. Click on the edit icon at the right end of the user.

  6. The random user appears as below.

  7. First, Activate the random City/Town from Setup.

  8. Then, approve the random Church/Group in Church/Group Management and create a Team.

  9. The random user appears as below.

  10. Otherwise, you can also choose an existing City/Town & Church/Group from the dropdown or create a new City/Town & Church/Group.

  11. The role should be selected as Team Lead/Team Member.

  12. Then select the respective team and it checkmarks the resend code/password automatically.

  13. Select Save and confirm the popup.

  14. It triggers an email to the random user, and the user status is changed to invited.
